2. ONLY submit articles to sites that have high page ranks – they receive a ton of traffic. If in doubt, check their site traffic count at alexa.com. I would make sure they have a traffic ranking of less than 50,000. It’s important you’re not wasting your time and submitting your articles to websites that don’t receive much traffic – no one will see it.

3. Write to search engines as well as your target audience. Article SEO – this is another way that prospects will find you. Make sure your article is KEYWORD RICH, but don’t keyword spam.

4. Article can be anywhere between 300-1500 words or so. No right or wrong here – just enough, but not too much.

5. Links are ok in your article, but most locations will frown upon html in your article. Avoid doing this…it’s not necessary.

6. Remember – you’re the expert!

7. Use examples and stories in your message. Include examples.

13. Put the reader at ease. You are not writing for a scientific or literary society, but to your peers on the Internet. Write in a simple style and if you introduce new terms, define them for your readers.

14. Explain your points in short paragraphs. Short paragraphs are easier for the reader to follow. No one likes to look at a long block of solid text. Three, four or five sentences are usually enough for one paragraph.
